What we collect
The contact form collects your name, email, organization (if you give one), and message. If you sign up for email updates, your email address is stored through our site host and used only to send occasional updates; you can unsubscribe at any time. The library-request generator runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type there is sent to us. Google Analytics 4 collects standard analytics data, including approximate country from your IP address, device info, and which pages you view.
Meta Pixel (advertising measurement)
We use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) to measure whether our ads work. It records which pages you view and three actions: downloading a free document (with the document's title), clicking a "Buy the Book" link, and signing up for email updates. It sends Meta your browser and device details, IP address, and Meta cookies, which Meta may link to your Meta account to measure and improve ad delivery. We never send your email address, form contents, or anything you type.
In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland the Meta Pixel does not load unless you accept it in our cookie banner. We keep a record of that choice (a random visitor ID, your choice, the date, and the version of the notice you saw). You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Elsewhere you can opt out through that same link or through your Meta ad settings.

To respond to your inquiry, to send updates if you ask for them, to understand how the site is used, and to measure our advertising.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, including email addresses. We don't load third-party trackers beyond Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and the link-shortening service (Bitly) used on our buy links.

Your rights
EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under CCPA — we honor both regardless of location.
